Is Your Prayer Being Answered?

Peace be upon you!

Why is that your prayer hadn’t been answered?

What about Jesus’s prayer to God? Was it answered?

The Prayer of Spiritual Glorification

1. After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.

2. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.

3. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

4. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.

5. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.”

Let’s take a closer look at the second and third verses. Jesus is talking about the revelation of Eternal Life, which will happen after His crucifixion. Also, the Divine Master asks that He would be glorified in God as He brought to us God’s Glory.

If you think about it, Jesus' prayer was answered. So, it doesn’t make sense to say that God set His only Begotten Son to be sacrificed. No! That was a choice that we, as a sinful society, made. God does not set us for failure; humans do that. God sets us for glorification in Jesus Christ.

Now, another point to make here is the sacrifice itself. Jesus didn’t cause His own death; it was imposed on Him. Can we say that it was the same as the ancient practices of sacrifice? No! Exactly, because it was imposed.  Jesus’ sacrifice was different from all ancient examples; it did not have the purpose to please God, but it was an expression of humanity's rebellious spirit against God. It was humanity’s extreme egotistical act, and God’s answer was of Great rumbling and miracle (Mt, 27:51-54; Lk, 23:47-49), which may confuse our own reasoning. Even in the greatest moment of suffering, God still shows us love and mercy. Society then realized what they had done, and all of them walked, beating their chest and mourning for their own sin, because we instinctively know the consequences our actions will bring according to the Divine Laws.

Jesus' request for us

Although the evil insistence of humanity for Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, His prayer to God was fully answered. Here is the point of a prayer to be answered: it requires sincerity, that is, an honest request, and a sacrifice of your will for God’s Will in your life.

The idea that we should be scared of God’s Will, because He will take away everything we like or that the spirit finds delight in, is an idea imposed by darkness. The intent of ignorant spirits that work to keep you in darkness is to create confusion. The same goes for what happened to Jesus Christ. People avoid connecting themselves to a God who sacrificed His own Begotten Son. But that is a lie! How come that God prevented Isaac's sacrifice, son of Abraham, but didn’t prevent Jesus’ sacrifice? God is not sadistic. He fulfilled Jesus' request and continues to fulfil His request for us, when we decide to become Missionaries of His Love.

15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.

19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

24 Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.

26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.

Pay attention to Jesus’ life and prayer! If God didn’t abandon His only Begotten and Beloved Son, He won’t abandon you. You know why? Because God and Jesus love you and are the Ones who pray for you at this time!

God’s Will v human will

So, believe that your prayer is being answered. Believe that God is doing His part in your life. Believe that Jesus loves you and works for your spiritual growth, your spiritual freedom from the shackles of dark ignorance.

Wake up at this time!

Because if you prolong Christ’s calling in your life from fear of losing what you think you have and not perceiving what God has held for you, the time will come when you’ll be like the ones who watched Jesus’ crucifixion and will beat on your chest, crying out loud your mourning for the sin you have committed.

Let God’s Will rule over your own. He is our Creator, the Almighty One, so He infinitely knows better than you. What you may consider a misfortune and maleficence of God, it may very well be your path for Eternal Life. Stop thinking that God works against you! He loves you and wants you well.

Do you understand that? God loves you! God loves you! God loves you!

His will is not for your eternal damnation, but for your spiritual salvation. God gives us the choice. Now, it is up to us to seek His Divine Protection or to work against the fulfillment of His Will in this world.

A Moment of Silence

At the moment of consummation of Jesus’ prayer and glorification, there is a silence in the sky. That means the complete focus society had and will have, as it is narrated in Christ’s Book of Revelation (8:1-5). It is the moment of consummation and glorification of His Missionaries:

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

(Revelation of Jesus, according to John 8:1-5)

1 When He [The Glorified Christ] opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne.

4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.

5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

Prayers happen every day

Our prayers are all answered, one by one. God does not disregard any prayer. The matter is in our hands. That is, if we are being sincere with what we are praying to God, or if we are just mumbling and repeating words, without feeling them.

Have you ever talked with someone like that? There is no conversation, no clear communication. The same goes when we pray to God; it needs clear communication.

Now, prayers happen every day. Some are with conscious intent, others are with subconscious intent. The moment you are mentally and actively discussing with God, Jesus, the Holy Mary, or our Spiritual Friends, you are praying, because that’s what it is. It is a conversation.

Conscious v subconscious prayer

That is why it must be a conscious prayer. Who here likes to talk with someone who isn’t making sense? That is just mumbling words, saying random things, and having their minds confused.

As long as it is a sincere prayer, the spiritual effects of it will reach far more than imaginable. As it is narrated in the fifth verse of chapter eight from Jesus’ Book of Revelation: “there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.”

Spiritual Effects of a Sincere Prayer

Believe it and start following Jesus Christ so you can witness God’s Will in your life.

Jesus is calling you to take control over your mind and spirit by delivering it to God and humbly following His Will in your life. You just have to trust in God’s Love!

Our Beloved Friend, Jesus Christ, is calling us, is calling you to love one another as He loved us (Jo 13:34-35).

Read the Gospel, read the Book of Revelation of Jesus. Set a challenge for yourself to read the Holy Bible.

Now, I invite you to pray and have an intimate conversation with Jesus Christ, so you can open your heart to God’s Revelation.

Jesus’ Ecumenical Prayer, The Lord’s Prayer

(Matthew 6:9 to 13)

9 Our Father, who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name.

10 Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 Forgive us our trespasses just as we forgive those who trespass against us.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Yours is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen!

Never forget to reach Christ through prayer and going to the spiritual services of your church.

God Is Present! Jesus Lives in our hearts forever!

May the Peace of God be upon you!
